The Goldsmith Court is a premium student accommodation in Nottingham. Goldsmith Court Nottingham offers a 1-bedroom Flat, Premium Ensuite, Classic Ensuite, or Classic Studio. All of these come fully furnished, making your move-in stress-free. You'll find everything you need, from a flat-screen TV for entertainment to a kitchen full of appliances like ceramic hobs for cooking up anything. If you require a snack? The in-room microwave will heat your food up, and the fridge keeps your drinks chilled. Some rooms even have a cosy breakfast bar, perfect for hanging out with roommates—all of this with ample wardrobe space, bedding essentials, and so much more.
Location:
Chaucer Street in Nottingham, where you will be staying, is a charming location full of things to do and places to eat. You can treat your taste buds at Parl Plaza Nottingham, The Cumin, or Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, one of England's oldest inns. Also, the 200 Degrees Coffee Shop is the go-to spot for coffee lovers to kickstart your day before heading to lectures. There is Tesco Express and Sainsbury's Local nearby because you will never have to worry about running out of essentials. Talking about parks, the Arboretum is a peaceful green oasis perfect for unwinding. The Nottingham NHS Walk-In Centre is located within a 6-minute walk for healthcare needs.
Commute:
There are a decent number of travel options near Goldsmith Court Nottingham. The Nottingham Trent University tram stop is nearby for students wanting to explore the city or reach university campuses. Nottingham Railway Station is also close by, with links to national transportation networks. Bus stops like Clarendon Street (Stop Y9), Wollaton Street, and Talbot Street (Stop Y6) provide additional convenient travel options. We will always recommend public transport to our students as it is cost effective and saves your time!
Room Types:
Goldsmith Court Nottingham student accommodation has a Classic Ensuite, Classic Studio, 1 Bedroom Apartment and a Premium Ensuite. You can choose from any of these as per your budget and preferences. All of these start from £180 per week for an entire duration of 41 to 51 weeks. All are fully furnished apartments with comfortable living environment.

Our Classic En-suite rooms are designed with comfort in mind, complete with single bed, en-suite bathroom, study desk, wardrobe and plenty of storage space. These rooms are located within flats varying from 3 to 8 bedrooms with a shared kitchen/dining area complete with a 4 ring ceramic hob, single oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and dining table.
Premium Ensuite£179 / week
Classic Studio£185 / week
Your own self-contained studio fully furnished with a 3/4 bed, en-suite bathroom, study desk and chair, wardrobe and flat screen TV. The kitchen comes with twin ceramic hobs, combination microwave, fridge and breakfast bar. Plenty of shelving and storage space means you should never run out of room.
Booking Fee: A £250 advance rent payment is required at the time of booking. This amount will be deducted from your total rental payment.
Guarantor: UK-based guarantor required.
Installment Plan: 3 or 4 installments, or make a full payment
Mode of Payment: Rent payments can be made either via card or bank transfer.
Unless the context otherwise requires, words and expressions defined in your Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement shall have the same meanings in this cancellation policy.
Unless the tenancy agreement has already commenced and you have not collected the keys to your room, you may cancel your tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property, at any time within the period of fourteen (14) days of the date on which you sign your first tenancy agreement for the 2025/26 Academic Year (the “Cooling-Off Period”). Once Property receive such a notice, Property will confirm receipt, cancel your tenancy, and will refund your Advance Rent Payment of £250.00, together with any other payments of rent you may have made.
Bookings made for Semester 2 or 3 starting after the 1 January 2025
If you sign a tenancy agreement for a semester booking you may cancel your tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property, with no penalty up until 8 weeks before the start of your agreement. Once Property receive such a notice, Property will confirm receipt, cancel your tenancy, and will refund your advance rent payment of £250.00, together with any other payment of rent you may have made.
Unless the tenancy agreement has already commenced and if you have not collected your key, you may also cancel at any time within the period of fourteen (14) days of the date on which you sign your first tenancy agreement for the 2025/26 Academic Year (the "Cooling-off Period"). During the cancellation period you may cancel your tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property. Once Property receive such a notice, Property will confirm receipt, cancel your tenancy, and will refund your advance rent payment of £250.00, together with any other payment of rent you may have made.
Cancelling outside the Cooling-Off Period
Outside the cooling-off period, you may request to cancel your tenancy, by notice in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property. However, you will remain liable for the rent payable under the tenancy agreement until a suitable replacement tenant has been found.
Cancelling as you do not receive your visa
If you are not successfully awarded a visa to travel and study, then Property can help. Firstly, Property may be able to transfer you to another one of our residences around the globe if you are going to study elsewhere. If you are not going to study elsewhere or Property do not have accommodation available in your new city/town of study, Property will release you from your tenancy agreement provided the following criteria are met:
You submit your request to cancel, in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property, within 3 days of your visa rejection letter: and
You provide the manager with a copy of your rejection letter from the embassy or visa office.
If your tenancy has commenced, you will remain liable for the rent payable under the tenancy agreement until receipt of the above.
One less worry if you don’t receive your offer
This is applicable to prospective first-year undergraduate students only
If you are not successful in obtaining your place at your chosen university, then don’t worry, Property can help. Firstly, Property may be able to transfer you to another one of our residences if you are going to study elsewhere. If you are not going to study elsewhere or Property do not have accommodation available in your new city/town of study, Property will release you from your tenancy agreement provided the following criteria are met:
You submit your request to cancel, in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property, before 22nd August 2025; and
You provide the manager with a copy of your rejection letter from the University or UCAS.
Once Property have your request, Property will confirm receipt and refund your advance rent payment of £250.00, together with any other rent payments you may have made.

Once Property receive such a notice, Property will confirm receipt, cancel your Tenancy and will refund your Advance Rent Payment of £250.00, together with any other payments of Rent you may have made.

In many cases, we can allow people to move in early at a daily rate, but you will need to contact the residence team to check.
Outside. Our buildings are non-smoking and incidents of smoking indoors will be dealt with strictly.
As long as you are able to return it to its original state on check-out or you will be recharged for any damages.

I am very particular in terms of everything, but Uniacco took care of it. They\'ve picked up my calls every time and been there 24/7 to help me. I came in at the last minute but still was able to find my accommodation and I am so happy with it.
